Your Generous Donations to Darussalaam Welfare
Will be the foundation of a project that aims to provide affordable burial for each and every one of us.
DARUSSALAAM CEMETERY PROJECT
“DONATE to buy a Cemetery” (Not just a grave spot)
(Donation of $5,000/family)
Recognizing this as a need, we have embarked on a mission to secure a 114-acre burial land. This ambitious project, costing around $20 millions. This requires collective support of our community.
To make this vision achievable, we are seeking donation of $5,000 per 4,000 families whom we call with respect “PIONEER FAMILIES”. We shall honor them by aloocating 4 burial plots together. Please note, at Darussalam burial plots will be free of cost anyway.
1) 16,000 reserved burial plots/graves for pioneers, ensuring proximity for families.
2) Remaining 40-80,000 burial plots will serve as waqf, supporting families in need.
3) May Allah accept your donation for continuous rewards (Hasanah), as your contributions will enable affordable burial plots for other brothers and sisters.
4) Single graves, avoiding the controversial double-grave practice prevalent in other cemeteries.
5) Dedicated family space — side-by-side burial of family members.
6) Affordable — Nearly one-fourth of the cost of other cemeteries.“DONATE to buy a Cemetery” (Not just a grave spot)

We do not plan to recycle graves for at least next 50 years, as InShaAllah, our project is designed to accommodate burial needs for that duration. However, if the government allows and there is a shortage of burial land in the future, we may have to consider this option.
Yes, subject to technical feasibility. We are reserving 16,000 burial spaces for pioneers, and we can arrange (subject to technical feasibility) sets of four adjacent burial spaces for families who wish to be buried together.
Our strategy is straightforward. We only need 4,000 families to contribute $5,000 each, which will total $20 million, the amount required to get the project up and running.
Yes, you can donate any amount purely as a Sadaqah Jariyah, not expecting to secure burial plots as a pioneer donor.

This risk is significantly low. This matter has seriously been considered and mitigated adequately by the positive and legal arrangements made to safeguard the Pioneer Members $ Contributions.
Darussalaam Welfare included a safety clause in the sales contract that the Vendor will allow Darussalaam to Sell the Land in such an event to pay the Vendor dues and subsequently the dues to Pioneer Members & donors on a pro-rata basis.
The Pioneer Member will have the following options-
1. Receive his/her $ contributions on a pro-rata basis.
2. Opt to continue to maintain their contributions with Darussalaam Welfare for similar future projects.
